Our coalition members are organizations across sectors, working collaboratively to ensure early, equitable access to comprehensive care for all people with cancer. Each member brings valuable expertise and commitment to advancing supportive cancer care for all. Our members, alongside other leaders, policy makers, insurers, businesses, and pharmaceutical companies who are dedicated to standardizing supportive care, are working together to identify key areas of impact.

How and why we collaborate

Patient advocates

People with cancer know that this disease touches every part of a person’s life—from their physical and mental health to their relationships and finances.

We need to reconsider cancer care to be supportive cancer care. This comprehensive approach to care empowers patients in a way that’s proven to improve their quality of life and health outcomes, while lowering the cost of care. That is why we must ensure supportive cancer care is the standard for all people with cancer.

Healthcare practitioners, systems, and executives

Positive patient outcomes call for a supportive care approach throughout a person’s journey with cancer.

By integrating supportive care services early in cancer care, we can improve lives and save more people from cancer—while also reducing long-term healthcare costs. That is why supportive care should be central to cancer care for every person living with or surviving cancer.

Policymakers

Cancer cases continue to rise across the United States, impacting the lives of countless people, families, and loved ones.

Supportive cancer care programs are proven to improve outcomes for people with cancer, reduce healthcare costs over time, and contribute toward a more efficient healthcare system. That is why we must ensure it is the standard for all people with cancer across our country to have early access to supportive care.

Employers

Supporting employees throughout the cancer journey is not only a moral imperative but also an investment for the future.

Supportive cancer care is a comprehensive approach to care that improves the lives of people with cancer and their families. It allows people to live healthier lives while also reducing healthcare costs over time. That is why we must set a new national standard for cancer care.

Pharmaceutical companies

Starting at diagnosis, people living with cancer deserve care that is tailored to their unique needs and supports treatment adherence.

To achieve better outcomes for people with cancer, we must ensure access to supportive cancer care. That is why supportive cancer care should be accessible to all people diagnosed with cancer, no matter who they are or where they receive care.
